Salt, a precious commodity, has always been associated with human culture. As a cornerstone in nutrition, but also important beyond that, the mineral is said to have positive effects, even bringing happiness and promoting success.
"Without salt, the soup tastes bland." And just like salt, people also need art! You will look in vain for a bowl of salt in the exhibition, but you will find art as the spice of life. For the artist themselves, art or their own creative expression is the salt of the world/the spice of life that they need to live. Accordingly, at least a pinch of it is needed to live. Visitors to the exhibition are invited to gain an impression of the artist's visual world and discover the artwork as a pinch of salt that everyone can use to flavour their own lives.
