Daniel Krüger | rēənˈvent / reinvent – Paintings Daniel Krüger
In his artistic works, Daniel Krüger questions the representation and depiction of nature and landscape in painting, reacting to a collective pictorial memory in order to renegotiate his medium. These (re)actions take the form of hybrid, experimental and conceptual panel paintings that implement new materials and working methods. In these abstract to representational compositions, a dialogue is created between the fragmented motif and the physical haptics of the image carrier by differentiating between ground, glaze, colour layering and graphic outline. The presentation 'reinvent' at Fraunhofer ENAS shows artistic results from research-based practice and material-based experiments.
